01 The challenge

One Structure, Six Jobs, No Machine to Measure

The customer needed a fully engineered access and fall protection platform designed around large CNC machines that hadn't arrived yet — using only machine specifications, facility layouts, and operational requirements — while also accommodating CMM inspection equipment and facility cleaning access underneath the structure.

JE worked directly with the customer using machine drawings, specifications, and workflow requirements to engineer a custom steel platform system — integrating fall protection, CNC machine access, dedicated CMM inspection accommodations, and material handling support, all designed before the equipment ever arrived.
